Spencers’ announces new store through sample distributions

Objective

A combination of Mygate’s Pulse and Door-to-door sampling helped a big Indian chain of retail stores to increase awareness about their newly opened store in Gurgaon. The brand selected gated communities located near the store and announced the store’s opening starting a few days prior till a few days after the store opened.

A retail brand that recently opened a new branch in Gurgaon reached its audience and enabled them to locate the store at the click of a button. They also used Mygate’s services for D2D sampling inside the gated societies to create awareness.

Process

It was an end-to-end campaign wherein the primary intention was brand awareness. It was also to help the audience locate the new store that the brand had inaugurated in the area. For this purpose, 60+ societies were selected from around the area of the store’s location. As a part of the pre-buzz, these societies were sent notifications and communication from the brand for a week. Post the pre-buzz, the brand sent out samples of rice, milkshakes and cookies to residents of 20+ societies where they received greater traction.

Result

The door-to-door campaign was run for a week in about 20 societies. Overall about 15000 homes were targeted, and 3000+ customers received samples and engaged with the brand.
