2. Game Rules
2.1. The game allows users to predict the winner of each match by selecting one team as the potential winner for the day.
2.2. Users can select only one team per match. Multiple selections are not permitted.
2.3. A user’s prediction is finalized once the match prediction window closes. No changes can be made after submission or after the match begins.
2.4. If a match is cancelled, abandoned, or ends with no official result, it will be treated as void. No points, leaderboard impact, or prizes will be awarded for that match.
2.5. For days with multiple matches, users must participate in each match individually. Participation in one match does not automatically apply to others.
3. Winner Selection and Prizes
3.1. Daily and Weekly Lucky Draws:
Two winners are selected at random for each match from users who correctly predicted the outcome. Additionally, one weekly winner is selected from users who made at least one correct prediction during the week.
Winners are subjected to receive exciting prizes from Mygate.
3.2. Grand Season Prize:
The top rankers on the final leaderboard at the end of the season, will win the Grand Season Prizes. Rankings are based on cumulative correct-prediction points.
3.3. Users who did not participate or predicted incorrectly are not eligible for lucky draws.
3.4. All winner selections are final and at the sole discretion of Mygate.
3.5. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Mygate reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or different value if required. Mygate reserves the right to substitute prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value, at its sole discretion and subject to availability.
3.6. Winners will be notified via the Mygate app and/or their registered mobile number. Mygate will never request OTPs, bank details, or any payment for prize claims.
3.7. All prizes are subject to applicable taxes under the Income Tax Act, 2025 (effective April 1, 2026), which replaces the Income Tax Act, 1961. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) shall be applicable on prize winnings in accordance with Section 393, Clause 393(3) of the Income Tax Act, 2025 [corresponding to erstwhile Section 194B of the Income Tax Act, 1961], wherever the prize value from a single transaction exceeds ₹10,000. TDS will be deducted at a flat rate of 30% on the gross prize value, plus applicable Health and Education Cess of 4%, resulting in an effective deduction rate of 31.2%. Mygate will deduct the applicable TDS before disbursing prizes. Winners must provide their valid PAN card details to enable TDS deduction and issuance of Form 16A / TDS certificate. For non-cash prizes (including gadgets, vouchers, or experiences), TDS will be calculated on the fair market value of the prize, and the winner must pay the applicable TDS amount to Mygate before the prize is handed over. The net prize value after TDS deduction will be communicated to the winner at the time of prize notification. Winners are solely responsible for filing their own income tax returns and disclosing prize income under the applicable head of income as per the Income Tax Act, 2025.

4.2. Participation is match-specific. Selecting a team for one match does not automatically enroll users for other matches.
4.3. Users may participate in any number of matches during the season. Missing a match does not affect eligibility for future matches or prizes.
5. Disqualification
Mygate reserves the right to disqualify any participant if:
• They use bots, scripts, or any automated or unfair means to gain advantage
• They attempt to manipulate the system, leaderboard, or outcomes
• They breach any of these Terms and Conditions

10. Amendments
Mygate reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
By participating in Predict & Win, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
We understand that Mygate is conducting an online quiz on its application, wherein users of the Mygate app will participate and respond to questions based on the Indian Premier League (‘IPL’).
- We further understand that among the participants providing correct answers, winners will be shortlisted, and the winnings to be disbursed are wholly in kind which do not involve any cash. Mygate will first procure the articles intended to be distributed as winnings and shall thereafter distribute the same to the selected winners
- The aforesaid incomes are in the nature of winnings from participation in games, and the provisions of Table S. No.1 of Section 393(3) of Income-tax Act, 2025 (‘ITA’) are applicable in that case. Accordingly, tax is required to be deducted at source at the rate of 31.2% (30% plus applicable surcharge and cess) on such winnings where value of winnings being distributed exceeds INR 10,000.
- Further, as per the provisions of the ITA, where winnings to be disbursed are wholly in kind and do not involve any cash component, it is the responsibility of the payer to ensure, prior to the disbursal of such winnings, that the applicable tax is duly deducted and shall be deposited.
- Accordingly, in order to ensure the above, Mygate can either:
- Recover the TDS amount from the winner; or
- Deposit TDS on behalf of the winner. (If such taxes paid are not recovered from the winner later, the same may be required to be borne by Mygate as a cost).
- Further, where the winnings to be distributed are wholly in kind, the amount of tax required to be borne may be computed by grossing up the Fair Market Value (‘FMV’) of the prize using the following formula: Tax = FMV of prize x [31.2% / (100% -31.2%). In this case, the FMV of the winnings may be considered as the purchase price incurred by Mygate for procuring such articles.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
11.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
11.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11.3. The parties agree to attempt resolution of any dispute through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice by either party, either party may pursue available legal remedies.
12. Grievance Redressal:
12.1. In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Mygate has appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints related to this activity.
12.2. For any complaints, queries, or concerns related to Predict & Win, participants may contact the Grievance Officer at [email protected]
