Mygate Smart Locks Exchange & Return Policy

Please read the following exchange and return Policy to ascertain whether your purchase of mygate smart locks qualifies for a return or an exchange:

1. Exchange

Exchange can be made if the Customer establishes that the product delivered by Mygate is defective or has physical damage within 10 days from the receipt of the said product. Exchange will be allowed only if:

  1. An exchange request is made within 10 days of receipt of the order, and
  2. The product is not yet installed on the door, and
  3. The customer has received a defective product or a different product than what was ordered

2. Return

Where the customer has received the desired product, but the product cannot be installed due to the door design/ door thickness or door material. In this case,

  1. The customer should bring this to the notice of customer care within 10 days of receipt of the material
  2. The product must be unused & the packaging should not be damage
  3. The product should be free from physical marks and in its original product packaging, along with all accessories intact
  4. All supporting documentation, such as receipt of purchase, price tags, labels & warranty card, as well as accessories, should be dispatched with the product.

3. Cancellation

Cancellation of Orders is possible only before shipping. In case of prepaid orders, refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days to the original source.

Mygate Customer Support Team’s hours are between 10:00 AM and 07:00 PM IST, Monday through Sunday, except national holidays.

It’s important to note that the policy emphasises prompt communication with Mygate’s customer support team for any issues, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory resolution process for all parties involved.

Mygate Smart Locks Limited Warranty Terms & Conditions

The Limited Warranty statement provides a commitment from Mygate to ensure the reliability and quality of its product. This warranty serves as a promise that the product will maintain its integrity and functionality, free from any material or workmanship defects.

The Smart Locks offered by Mygate carry a limited warranty of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase. It is warranted to be free from defects in material for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase. During this period of warranty, if the product is proven to be defective in material, the product will be repaired or replaced by a refurbished product or substituted by a similar product at the discretion of Mygate.

Terms & Conditions of Warranty:

  1. This warranty is applicable for a period of 3 (three) years to the original purchaser from the date of purchase. The customer should retain the Order Summary or Tax Invoice.
  2. There should be no amendments/corrections on the Order Summary or Tax Invoice.
  3. In case repair or replacement of the product is carried out, the period of warranty would continue from the original date of purchase.
  4. Replaced parts/products would be the property of the Mygate.

  6. Visit charges as per the prevailing prices list would be applicable. Travelling and other incidental expenses are payable by the customer wherever applicable.
  7. Surface finish and/or shade of the product is not covered under this warranty.
  8. This warranty is restricted to only the product and not the installation service. In case of any damage or non-operation of the product due to the effects of weather on the door and frame, or sag on account of loosened or tightened hinges/latches are not covered under this warranty.
  9. Warranty on the product would not be applicable under the conditions, including but not limited to:

    a) Batteries provided by Mygate are not covered by the warranty.

    b) Mygate reserves the right to modify the design of the products without prior notice in pursuance of its policy of continuous technical improvement.

    c) Decision of Mygate on the admissibility of the claim under warranty would be final and binding.

    d) Maximum liability under the warranty would be limited to the cost of the product. This warranty expressly excludes any claim for incidental or consequential loss or damage.

    e) Any representation, warranties or promises inconsistent with or in addition to the warranties contained herewith are unauthorised and shall not be binding on Mygate.

    f) This warranty is valid in India only

    g) This warranty is issued at Bengaluru, and the Courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered or flowing from this warranty.

    h) Mygate reserves its rights to amend the above terms and conditions without notice.
