How to Clean a Toilet Seat

Did you know that your toilet seat is one of the cleanest places in your home? As compared to other things, such as the TV remote, mobile phones, or computer keyboards, toilet seats have fewer germs. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t need regular cleaning.

A stained toilet not only causes embarrassment but also infections from the germs and the mold present in that area.

Ideally, a toilet should be cleaned every 2-3 days. And this should include disinfecting the toilet seat, the exterior of the toilet as well as all the other surfaces of the toilet.

Removal of stains, dirt, and mold and disinfecting the toilet seat is a necessity as these steps ensure a hygienic toilet, free of germs and bad odor.

  • Then, pour the liquid on the hinges and the bolts and leave it for a minute.
  • Scrub the lid and the hard-to-reach places with an old toothbrush.
