    How can I use Mygate to pay my maintenance bills?

    Mygate allows you to clear monthly maintenance dues directly from the app without the need for cash or cheques. You can choose UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking. The app auto-generates receipts, which are stored permanently under your account, making it easier to track past payments during audits or when you are selling your flat. If your society has enabled auto-reminders, you will also get notifications before the due date and alerts in case of late payment penalties.

    Can I see all my past bills and receipts in one place?

    Yes. Every invoice raised by your RWA and every payment you have made, whether on time or with penalties, is recorded and available inside the app. You can filter by month, year, or type of charge (maintenance, water, electricity, parking) and even download statements for personal records. This removes the need to manually store physical receipts or chase the management office.

    How does Mygate handle visitors and deliveries at my gate?

    The app sends you a real-time notification when someone arrives at the gate, whether it’s a delivery agent, guest, or service staff. You can approve or reject the entry instantly. For frequent visitors like domestic staff or drivers, you can create recurring entries, which reduces manual approvals. For delivery partners, you can use the “Leave at Gate” option to avoid disturbance. This reduces wait time at the gate and improves community security.

    What if I miss a visitor notification?

    If you do not respond within a set time, the guard follows the default protocol defined by your RWA. For example, they might deny entry unless the resident confirms by phone. You can also check the missed request in the notification history inside the app.

    Can I book society amenities such as the clubhouse, gym, or badminton court through Mygate?

    Yes. The Amenities section lets you see availability in real time. You can book slots, cancel if required, and pay any booking fee directly within the app. The system ensures that two residents cannot book the same slot, avoiding confusion at the facility. Many RWAs also configure penalty rules for last-minute cancellations, which are auto-applied.

    How do I raise complaints or service requests with my RWA?

    You can raise a complaint with a short description, attach photos if needed, and assign it to the right category, such as plumbing, electrical, housekeeping, or security. The ticket is logged into the RWA dashboard, where it can be tracked by the committee or the facility manager. You can see status updates like “In progress” or “Resolved,” along with comments from the RWA. This eliminates the need to visit the office or follow up manually.

    Is Mygate useful if my society does not use all ERP features?

    Yes. Even if your RWA has activated only visitor management, you can still approve guests and track deliveries. If they have enabled billing, you get the full set of payment features. If amenities are onboarded, you can book them. Mygate is modular, which means you use only what your RWA enables, but as a resident, you always get the benefit of a single app to handle everything related to your community.

    How can Mygate support residents living in more than one community?

    You can add multiple societies to the same account. For example, if you live in one city but also maintain a flat in another city, you can manage both through the same login. You can switch between communities with one tap, view different payment dashboards, and access different visitor and complaint records.

    What if I change my phone or number? Will I lose my records?

    No. All records are stored securely in the cloud against your registered flat details, not just your phone. Even if you change your device or number, once your RWA admin verifies your flat ownership and updates your contact details, your entire history of payments, complaints, and bookings will still be available.

    How does Mygate ensure my data is safe?

    Mygate follows strict privacy and security protocols. Resident data such as phone numbers, flat details, and payment history is never shared outside your community. All transactions are encrypted with bank-level security, and the platform is compliant with Indian data protection laws. Guards only see visitor-related information, not personal resident data.

    Can Mygate help with communication inside the society?

    Yes. You will receive community announcements directly in the app. These could be about water shutdowns, fire drills, or events. You can also participate in community polls, which are conducted by the RWA for decision-making. Unlike WhatsApp groups, where information gets lost, announcements stay pinned in the app for reference.
